A little guide

  1. Connect touching letters. Click or drag through the hexagons to spell a word with at least 3 letters. Each tile can be used once; Qu counts as two letters.
  2. Collect your word. Used tiles disappear and the letters above fall down. Longer words and rare letters earn more points.
  3. Make something special. Words of 5, 6, 7, or 8+ letters earn green, gold, sapphire, or diamond tiles. They boost points and slow the embers.
  4. Protect the books in Classic. Embers burn down after each accepted word. Use a burning letter in a word to clear it. A flame on the bottom row must be cleared on your next turn. Short words and scrambling can bring more embers. Each round has 3 hint letters.
  5. Take your time in Cozy. No timer, no embers, unlimited hints and scrambles. Open the dictionary and pick a missing word to make a board containing it.
  6. Fill your dictionary. Start with 250 words. Earn coins and buy story books or subject books, from animals and food to tech and the office, to unlock more. Tap Focus on a book you own: its words become your bonus words, worth 2–⁠5× points and coins.

Friends: 2–8 players, 1–3 minutes, the same starting board. Classic embers can end your round before the clock. No hints, hunts, scrambles, or book-focus boosts. Challenge coins and discoveries join your collection; your solo round waits for you.

Keyboard: Tab to a tile, Space to select, arrows to move, Enter to collect, Backspace to undo, Esc to clear. Your progress saves after every word.
